Kanal D’s anticipated series of the season, “That Girl”, produced by Content House, is coming to the screen with its first episode. The Özlem Günhan is the director of the series, which attracts the attention of the audience with both the promotions and the different storyline, while the script is written by Sırma Yanık.
The plot of the first episode of the series, starring Erkan Petekkaya, Dilin Döğer, Cengiz Orhonlu and Sezin Akbaşoğulları, is as follows;
Zeynep, an ordinary young girl, lives in her aunt’s house with her mentally retarded father and elderly grandfather. Zeynep’s biggest dream is to earn enough money to help them escape from the house where they feel like refugees under the pressure of their brother-in-law. Zeynep’s life changes radically before she can achieve this modest dream. It all starts when she goes to clean the house of a famous internet phenomenon that she follows to help his aunt. The actions of the recently popular name Ozan Mert irreversibly change the course of both Zeynep’s and Ozan’s lives. Agency owner Sitare Somer, who took Ozan from zero to the top, takes control of the situation. Sitare has to turn the crisis into an opportunity, no matter the cost. While her life is falling apart, Zeynep’s share will be to reach beyond her dreams.
