Kanal D’s highly anticipated new series “Veda Mektubu”, produced by Most Production and produced by Gül Oğuz, is coming to the screen with its first episode.
The plot of the first episode of the series, starring Nurgül Yeşilçay, Selim Bayraktar, Rabia Soytürk, Emre Kıvılcım and Bennu Yıldırımlar, directed by Deniz Çelebi Dikilitaş, and whose story was written by Deniz Akçay and the Gamestory script, is as follows;
In the craziest and most reckless age of her youth, Alanur (Nurgül Yeşilçay) chooses her love, not her career. He stands behind his love even if it means opposing his family and father. Ziya (Selim Bayraktar) turns Alanur’s heart to ice by leaving her at an unexpected moment. Alanur buries her heart and dreams in her past and agrees to the marriage her father wants. This marriage gives Alanur two daughters. Unable to find his own crazy youth in his first daughter, Beste, Alanur puts all his hopes on his second daughter, Aslı (Rabia Soytürk). Aslı will make the choices that she could not make at the time, and Aslı will go to places that Alanur could not go in his career. It is a great source of pride for Alanur that Aslı was accepted to one of the important universities of France. Thanks to Alanur Aslı, it seems like he will clean up his life. Ziya, who unexpectedly left Alanur, married Seher (Bennu Yıldırımlar), who has been in love with him since she was a young girl. According to Seher, the best person for Ziya is herself, not Alanur, who grew up in a completely different culture. Even though Seher manages to marry Ziya, she can never conquer his heart. That’s why she is a heartbroken woman. Mehmet is the one who will make Seher’s life clear. That’s why he even chooses his bride himself. Nevzat’s daughter Hatice, whom he knows like a sister, is exactly the bride he wants. If Mehmet loves Hatice, it seems like he will be accepted in his marriage. Her whole preoccupation is planning this wedding. Mehmet does not believe in love, with the awareness that Seher gradually develops over time. Life confirms whatever we believe. The girls who enter Mehmet’s life cause disappointments that kill Mehmet’s belief in love. He cannot believe in love, marriage is a decision to be taken with logic, not with the heart. Asli is a girl full of life. Unlike her sister, she is unmanageable, rebellious, and wants to establish her own life. For this reason, it reminds Alanur of his youth. Although he pursues his dream of France so as not to have to deal with Alanur, he actually does not want to go. In fact, her dream is not to study law in France, but to become a dancer. Mehmet and Aslı’s paths cross in an accident. What the duo doesn’t know yet is life’s plan for them; Mehmet and Aslı’s story did not start with them.
Farewell Letter, which will be talked about a lot with its heart-touching story as well as its rich cast, will be on Kanal D with its first episode on Monday, February 27 at 20.00…
