In the year 1451, Young Sultan Mehmed headed to Edirne with a dream after he got the news regarding his father, the Sultan who had passed away.
His dream was to conquer Constantinopolis, the heart of the World. However, there were great obstacles he was about to face. The ancient city had been sieged many times before. But no one could tear down its castles or pass the great giant chain on the Golden Horn. To conquer this great city, Mehmed has to beat Byzantine Empire and the whole Christian World behind it; and has to struggle with the powerful Vizier Çandarlı Halil Paşa.
Mehmed, with his bright mind, military and strategic intelligence beyond his time, believed in victory and overcame every obstacle. After 2 years he ascended the throne, sieged and conquered Constantinapolis, the impossible city, in only 53 days. He made his dream come true and changed history. Sultan Mehmed was named “The Conqueror” after this day. This is the day a new era started and the beginning of the great empire which will rule the World for hundreds of years.
