An entertaining story of a family and a group of friends focuses on the deceptive world of actors through the eyes of residents living in a bohemian neighborhood in Istanbul. Deniz (Gülse Birsel) is an actress who plays the lead on a drama series. Following her sister’s footsteps, Bora (Öner Erkan) arrives in the big city to become an actor too. Together, they move in next door to a conservative family and start interacting with them on the shared terrace of their building. The Kocabaş family, who is also the landlord begins to question the lifestyle of their tenants. However, the family has its unique members as well. Şehmuz (Altan Erkekli) is an authoritarian father in his sixties, who is married to an old-school housewife Servet (Füsun Demirel). Their son Rıza (Beyazıt Öztürk) is a sensitive bachelor in his mid thirties, whereas their daughter Gülistan (Hasibe Eren) is more of a masculine type, both living with their parents. The fun begins when Deniz and the family’s paths cross.
