After a successful modeling career Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ; has initially met with Turkish audience as an actor in 2005 on Kanal D’s first international premium drama Gumus (Gümüş). Co-staring with Songül Öden, “Gümüş & Mehmet Şadoğlu” is the first unforgettable couple that Turkey introduces to international audience. His fan base enlarged to the Middle East, the Balkans and North Africa. In 2007 Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ was again on Kanal D with an impossible love story: Menekse and Halil (Menekşe ile Halil). Co-starring with Sedef Avcı, Menekse & Halil try to live an impossible love story drifting from Berlin to Istanbul… His biggest hit in acting career is also at another Kanal D premium drama: Forbidden Love (Aşk-ı Memnu). Premiered in 2008, the love triangle he’s been living with “Bihter Ziyagil” (Berren Saat) as “Behlül Haznedar”, still continues to strike the audiences around the world. With this role he won “The Best Male Actor” in Golden Butterfly Awards. His 4th encounter with Kanal D audience was in 2011 as a naughty brother “Kuzey Tekinoğlu” in Kuzey Guney (Kuzey Güney).
