Beren Saat

As the first runner up of a national TV competition Beren Saat has made her first debut on Kanal D was in 2008 with phenomenon Turkish Drama Forbidden Love (Aşk-ı Memnu). Acting as“Bihter Yöreoğlu Ziyagil”she becomes a world phenomenon in the modern adaptation from the novel of Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, the foremost Turkish author written in 1899; “Forbidden Love”. Co-starring with Kıvaç Tatlıtuğ, Selçuk Yöntem and Nebahat Çehre; she won Golden Butterfly Awards as “Best Actress” 2 years in a row, in 2009 & 2010. Right after “Forbidden Love” in 2010, she acted in another world phenomenon Fatmagul (Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne?). She acted as “Fatmagül Ketenci”; the young beautiful girl seeking for justice, after a rape incident in a small town and forced to get married with one of her rapists. Having been sold to more than 154 countries Fatmagul; was initially written as a screenplay in 1986 by Vedat Türkali, the foremost Turkish author and edited into a novel by Sebahat Altıparmakoğlu in 2016. Awarded by large audiences from different countries like; “The Best International Serie of 2019 in French Soap Awards” & “Premio a la Mejor Novela de Novelas Nova de 2019 – The Best Telenovela of Among All Telenovelas at Nova in 2019″ “Fatmagul” is a strong globally binding story, telling the roughest pains of a raped woman, her fight against the justice and traditions.
